Over the last two weeks I’ve received some lovely books through the mail. So, I thought I’d take a moment to post a public thank you here, and spotlight what arrived.
The first to arrive was an ARC of Random by Craig Robertson. This was sent to me from Simon & Schuster UK and is of the Mystery/Thriller category. It sounds like a pretty amazing read, so I’m excited about it.
The second to arrive was an ARC of Cheap Cabernet by Cathie Beck from the LibraryThings Early Reviewer program. This book is from the August batch, and I can’t wait to read it!
Third was The Skein and the Pair by Kathy Flanary Nelson. This novella is self published and was sent to me by the author. I’ve already read this and will be posting a review soon.
Fourth was Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles, which also came with some Forget-Her-Nots and Shadow Hills swag, as well as some Clockwork Angel temp tattoos (that I’ll be sending on to my lovely nephew). This was sent to me from Christina of Confessions of a Book Addict for winning a giveaway on her site. I love reading her reviews!
Last but not least is Dante’s Journey. This book was sent to me from its author, Jc Marino. It is self published which I always think is a super brave thing to do. I actually requested this one, and I am really looking forward to reading it.
That’s likely it for a while. I am expecting a few more books from various places (including an order I placed a few days ago), so that’s fun. I also bought one book yesterday and three more tonight, so that’s all the book buying I’ll be doing until probably the holiday season.
It’s an addiction, probably. An obsession, for sure.
