I am going. Tonight. To the Smart Chicks Kick It Tour. If this text has not adequately conveyed the extreme excitement I am feeling, let me just say this… I am extremely and totally excited beyond what is probably rational for an adult going to a Young Adult author signing to be. But there you go.
The event is hosted by Keplers, though it is being held at the Menlo Park Library.
And now, I have to go prepare post-its with my name on them and print out the poster for signage and pace around the house and fret and be a nervous wreck. Around 4:45 p.m. I will nudge my dear, loving, indulgent husband into the car so that he can drive northward to take me to the signing. And then I will simply die from nervousness.
